Completion of the Senior Secondary  Building

We are proud to present the completed Townsville Christian College, New Secondary Senior Building, a beautiful and significant addition to our campus, officially completed in August 2025.

This purpose-built facility provides a modern, functional learning environment designed to support students’ growth, learning, and development for years to come. Already, students have embraced the space with enthusiasm, and we are excited to welcome even more students into these new facilities as we begin the new term next week.

Designed for Learning, Creativity and Leadership

The new Secondary Senior Building has been thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of our senior students. The facility includes:

• Two fully equipped Science Laboratories

• State-of-the-art Hospitality Kitchen

• A Performance Arts Room

• Learning Support facilities

• A modern Library

• Five general learning classrooms

• A dedicated Leadership Centre

• Senior Hub
• Health Centre
• Staff Facilities

Together, these spaces create an environment that encourages academic excellence, creativity, collaboration, and leadership development.

A Collaborative Achievement

This significant building project was completed by W&F Constructions, and we extend our sincere thanks for their partnership, professionalism, and teamwork throughout every stage of the build. The New Secondary Senior Building is a wonderful addition to our campus and will have a lasting impact on the learning and growth of our students.

We also acknowledge and thank Queensland Signage Solutions for the recently completed signage, which adds a polished and professional finish to the building.

Our gratitude also extends to the dedicated TCC Grounds Department, whose exceptional work in the surrounding gardens and landscaping has enhanced the beauty and atmosphere of the entire area.

Thank you to everyone involved for their dedication, expertise, and teamwork throughout this project.

A Legacy That Grows

This building also holds special significance for our graduating Class of 2024. On their very last day of school at the end of Term 4, our Grade 12 students began something truly meaningful — our very first Campus Legacy Project.

Before walking out the school gates for the final time, they planted a tree to symbolise unity, growth, and the lasting mark they leave on our College community. As the years pass, future graduating classes will add their own elements, creating a living legacy that grows alongside our students. ??

From the ground up!  This project captures the incredible journey of our Senior Secondary Building, from construction through to completion. It now stands as a stunning new addition to our campus and a powerful symbol of growth, vision, and community.

We are incredibly proud of this milestone and look forward to seeing generations of students learn, grow, and thrive within these walls.
